Service department was great help. Just too bad my tire warranty package I purchased (at a different dealership) was worthless in assisting me replace my tire. Timmons got me in the next day with ease using the online scheduling after hours the night prior to my appointment.

Buying a car without anyone pressuring you is what you get when shopping at Timmons. My salesperson was Mike Moran. He is very knowledgeable and has a fun sense of humor. Beau in finance was also nice and explained all the extra options available so I easily understood them. The sales manager Bernie Clare has a great team working for him. I definitely will be back for my services that need to be done on my Taos in the future.

The customer service in person was great, very attentive and nice… it was just the amount of how long the oil change took, I dropped off my car at 8:30am and it wasn’t ready for pickup until almost 4pm-5pm… I requested for a quote on their web portal they use and didn’t get a response until having to go in person. If the quote would have been provided within the 7-8hrs they had my vehicle I would have liked to get that service done instead of having to schedule another appointment

I had two different experiences while at Timmons Volkswagen. First and foremost, I scheduled an appointment to get my Taos 2023 diagnosed due to some issues I was having. I had an appointment to drop off my vehicle on 4/1/25 at 7am. Which brings me to my first experience. The person who received me was Diego, Hispanic male with glasses. He did not provide the best customer service, in fact he was passive aggressive with me. He told me to stay in my car and wait a few minutes. I remembered I had a few questions and I decided to grab my keys and go inside to ask him. Turns out I was supposed to leave my car keys inside the car, but I did not know this. I offered to take the keys back but Diego said he would take them back. Instead of taking them back he grabbed paperwork that he needed me to sign and then made a comment saying “That’s the reason why you leave the keys inside, so they can move the car”, and proceeded to sit back down and left the keys on the table. Forgive me but even if it was something logical, you’re not supposed to make your customer feel bad or dumb about something so minor. Also, when I returned to pick up my vehicle and I asked him about the sensory issues my car was having he replied back saying “I thought my colleague had already given you that information”. He had an unnecessary attitude for no reason. Even though he was not IT when it comes to customer service I am still giving them 4 stars because of Ismael Rodriguez. He was the one who inspected my car, which he did a great job. He also went above and beyond. My car had to stay overnight for a couple of days. Ismael notified me that unfortunately they did not have any rentals until Thursday (I dropped off my car on a Tuesday). I expressed my concerns to him about not having a car and asked if maybe they could reimburse me if I paid for a Lyft or uber to take me from and to work and home. He said he would check in with his manager and he was polite at all times. To my surprise they ended up getting a car turned in last minute and Ismael called me right away to notify me and he even waited for me to arrive. He was friendly, professional and he made me feel welcomed. Completely opposite from his coworker. He recorded the rental before I took off, for their records, incase I damaged the car etc. Ismael was also understanding and patient with me. When he notified me I could pick up my car and they closed at 5:45 pm I called him to let him know that I got off work at 5 and I still needed to go refill the car with gas, which meant I would not make it on time. He let me know It was okay and that I could go Saturday instead.
Unfortunately Ismael was not there Saturday when I returned the rental and picked up my vehicle, Diego was there. Not only was he passive aggressive again, like I mentioned prior, but he also accused me of damaging the rental. This really confused me and of course it worried me. I requested pictures and he sent them and I was confused as to why I was being blamed for those scratches on the car. He told me, his manager would contact me on Monday. And I waited for them to call me, I was going to ask for the footage or the video that was recorded prior to me taking the vehicle. However, Ismael came
to the rescue and notified his coworker that those damages were there prior to me using the rental. Which means Diego did not even bother to look at the footage that his college recorded nor did he discuss this before calling me to give me the bad news. This news stressed me out and if he would have done a better job at communicating before accusing me it would have avoided me a head ache and tears of stress.
Moving forward, I am very happy with Ismael’s work and my car is in great condition still. It has been a week so I’m not sure if it is will continue to be in tip top shape but so far it is great and I know that if it has any issues again I will be more than happy to return because Ismael is great at what he does. Thank you Ismael! Give this man a raise please or a reward!

the only thing i would say is , i wasn't aware of all the options i could have gotten as i wasn't aware of the other options like auto seats and air conditioned seats and steering wheel cool and tail lift gate button.. i would have gotten all of those things just wasnt aware

Super helpful staff and great communication. Ismael helped us service our car which needed some recall services and had a flat tire. Ismael did a thorough inspection of the car and was incredible helpful. He communicated all our options to us and worked with our busy schedule to get whatever they could get done. He was able to find us a loaner vehicle but we we couldn’t take as we were going g out of town that weekend. Luckily Ismael and service team were able to get as much done as possible and plan to bring car back next week for the recall service that we did not have time for. Definitely recommend bringing your car here. They are efficient, helpful and honest.

I had an excellent experience at Timmons Volkswagen. Jesus was upfront on the costs of my repairs and there was no pressure to do anything extra. He did advise me if the additional maintenance that was needed on my vehicle but did not pressure me to complete them right there and then, which is why I am really appreciative of the service I received there. He was really professional and courteous.

Hi ,I called different Vw dealers for Two Recalls that to be fixed for four months.
No body gave me a hope.
Finally I called Timmon Vw at long Beach. Gave three options I chose on Thursday.
I went there on my appointment time ,
A service advisor, his name was ,Ismael Rodriguez, very polite and perfetoinal person. He said it takes the whole day to fix these Two Recalls.
I was surprised, the other dealers that I called before we do not have a parts ,and if we got the parts we call you but I need to leave my car over there for six day.
Mr Rodriguez finished my car by afternoon as he promised.
I really recommend anyone need repair they may go over there.
Every body were great .

This is my 8th Volkswagen. This is my second I've brought from Timmons and 3rd I've been bringing for regular service. First off 100% it is so worth it to upgrade from a S to SE for trim. I had a 2023 Toas and got a 2025 SE Taos. It is super fun to drive. Love the panoramic sunroof, heated seats and steering wheel. Adaptive cruise control is awesome with traffic and I almost back up on a jay walker the other night and the car stopped me. I have two kids and a pitbull with a super tight parking spot and this car is the perfect size. It's great on gas and handles great. I used to miss having a 6 speed TDI but seriously this car is fun to drive. I also love the additional horse power this model has, it made a noticeable difference. The redesigned engine ensures the turbo performance is on point. I drive about 30% of the day for work all over the county and I actually enjoy it now. I'm pretty sure I have automatic wipers now, but I haven't really figured that out yet. For the price point this car is perfect. Mike worked so hard to get me the car I wanted with all the extras I need like a roof rack for road tripping and Mitch locked in the best deal possible for me. After checking out McKenna whose price would had been like 3k more and Pacific who finance dept sucks, I went back to Mitch and he took care of me. I love that this business has been family owned for like 1000 years. I love this car so much I don't know if I'll upgrade it for a couple years but when I do I'll look for Mike and Mitch to help me. Bernie's cool too, he made sure I had everything I needed to get in the car I wanted and seamlessly. Any problems I've ever had with my VWs in the past Volkswagen Group of America always took care of me and I'm a life long customer. My only request is that they would bring back the shuttle for service appts instead of Ubers. Honestly if I hadn't talked to Luis in service I was going to probably get a Honda this time around but he told me about the redesign for the Taos and I'm so glad I listened to him. Oh yea, it's totally worth pre paying the service when you finance after the free 2 years #2025SETAOS #SEBLACK

I had a 2023 Toas and got a 2025 SE Taos. It is super fun to drive. Love the panoramic sunroof, heated seats and steering wheel. Adaptive cruise control is awesome with traffic and I almost back up on a jay walker the other night and the car stopped me. I have two kids and a pitbull with a super tight parking spot and this car is the perfect size. It's great on gas and handles great. I used to miss having a 6 speed TDI but seriously this car is fun to drive. I also love the additional horse power this model has, it made a noticeable difference. The redesigned engine ensures the turbo performance is on point. I drive about 30% of the day for work all over the county and I actually enjoy it now. I'm pretty sure I have automatic wipers now, but I haven't really figured that out yet. For the price point this car is perfect. Mike worked so hard to get me the car I wanted with all the extras I need like a roof rack for road tripping and Mitch locked in the best deal possible for me. After checking out McKenna whose price would had been like 3k more and Pacific who finance dept sucks, I went back to Mitch and he took care of me. I love that this business has been family owned for like 1000 years. I love this car so much I don't know if I'll upgrade it for a couple years but when I do I'll look for Mike and Mitch to help me. Bernie's cool too, he made sure I had everything I needed to get in the car I wanted and seamlessly. Any problems I've ever had with my VWs in the past Volkswagen Group of America always took care of me and I'm a life long customer. My only request is that they would bring back the shuttle for service appts instead of Ubers. Honestly if I hadn't talked to Luis in service I was going to probably get a Honda this time around but he told me about the redesign for the Taos and I'm so glad I listened to him. Oh yea, it's totally worth pre paying the service when you finance after the free 2 years #2025SETAOS #SEBLACK
